Last October it became known that the band would release a new album “Spirit” in spring 2017, produced by the members of Simian Mobile Disco and Matrixxman. The longplay will be released four years after the previous one, and will be the fourteenth in the project’s discography.

The band announced on Twitter that the first single from the album “Where’s The Revolution” will be released today, February 3, and “Spirit” itself will appear on March 17, 2017.

The magnificent foursome (guitarist Noodle, bassist Murdoch Nickalls, drummer Russell Hobbs and frontman 2D) in the company of Damon Albarn and the rest of the real-life members of Gorillaz, as well as a select group of artists, perform live for the first time since 2018.

The concert film consists of two parts: an hour-long show program before the concert and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
