Taken from a first generation dub of the best audience recording from the tragic night that Tommy Passed away, John Herdt has undertaken an impressive sonic restoration of this truly historic audio recording. The set list includes Teaser, People People, You Told Me That You Loved Me, Solos, Wild Dogs, Post Toastee. The package includes rare full color and black and white photos from the concert. A NOTE FROM JOHN HERDT: When you hear the last applause fade away at the end of the Jai Alai CD you should know that within hours Tommy had left this world. These notes were his final ones. It is a welcome revelation that his performance on December 3, 1976 was very strong. Tommy sounds healthy, excited and full of energy. This rivals his best work from 1974 and 1975. His interaction with drummer Mark Craney on the drum and guitar solo section is totally burning. Do yourself a favor and listen to this a few times through a good pair of headphones so you can hear all the details. There is abundant magic in this CD, the whole band is supercharged, and you will come away knowing that Tommy was nowhere near finished when he died. I hope that where he is now he knows how many people are passionate about his music, and also about how proud he can be of his last show.
